First Presbyterian believes in the gift and power of prayer because we have experienced it in many ways. Each Tuesday all who want and are able meet for and hour to pray for the needs and concerns of the church and to give thanks for the many ways God blesses us and answers our prayers. This has been a powerful ministry, both for those who are prayed for and for the prayers themselves. God has indeed been in our midst and heard our prayers!
