Mon. July 28th - Sat. August 2nd
Our High School youth group will be participating in the "Mending Lives" program, a ministry of Thornwell Home for Children. Adults from our congregation will serve as chaperones. The youth will interact with the children at the home, participate in recreation and discussions, and help with projects such as cleaning up hiking trails and painting. The first couple of days will be spent at the Thornwell Home in Clinton and the remaining days at Camp Thornwell in the SC mountains. The final day, Saturday, is a WHITE WATER RAFTING TRIP!
The cost is $75 plus the cost of the rafting trip. We will have 2 or 3 fund raisers to help pay for the trip. All who participate in the fundraisers may share in the proceeds. They are: Picnic & Field Day Sunday April 6, Yard Sale Saturday May 3, and a car wash at a future date if needed. Friends are welcome and encouraged to come with us and may take part in the fundraisers to help pay for their trip.
